regarding nut salt

I love salt. It's true. I put a ton on my food, and I even eat it straight -- pour a little into my hand and lick it off, lick all the salt off the rim of a margarita, dump those little fast food packets straight into my mouth, that kind of thing.

There are all kinds of salt -- table salt, sea salt, rock salt, margarita salt (mmm) -- but nut salt is on my mind at the moment. You know what I mean; it's that fine, dusty kind of salt that sticks perfectly to the oily nuts (that sounds so wrong...) and gets all over your fingers when you eat them, leading to the highly enjoyable experience of licking them clean. I somehow doubt it's something you can buy in a store, but I would if I could.

So anyway, I'm eating cashews and marveling at the salt.

Mostly because it keeps me from throwing things at my own head for not checking the gain on the camera yesterday during the shoot, thereby avoiding the last four hours of wrestling with Soundtrack Pro instead of editing video.

Mmmm, yes, salt! I used to sprinkle garlic salt into the palm of my hand and lick it off.

It's like popcorn salt! With the oil, and whatnot.

(ahhhhhh OMG OMG OMG paper. *hyperventilates* *skedaddles*)

No, but popcorn salt is more granular. Or possibly more paste-like. IDK.

Write like the wind, tiny blonde one! Write like the wind!

Hi! God, I haven't talked to you in forever. How are you?

A history of salt sounds fascinating. It was more important than gold for a good long while, so there are bound to be good stories. What's the title?
