He would be amazing! I am even more convinced of this after Life, because the man can handle wacky-to-unearthly serious like nobody's business. :) This is not to say that I don't want Matt Smith to stick around for a good long while, though, because I think he's brilliant.

(Damian Lewis also makes a brilliant Benedick, for the record. The adaptation was adorable.)
