Sorry about the wait! I didn't have access to my harddrive for a few days there -- I've no extracted it from the poor dead carcass of my computer and stuck it in an external drive, though, so it's all good. :)
bones pornbattle
This was written for a Porn Battle (I don't remember which iteration) prompt, "fogged". This is all I really have:
Booth was not a stupid man. Despite all logic, in contradiction with all appearances, his partner was surprisingly adept at undercover assignments. And, because Booth was not a stupid man, he used that to his advantage.
Booth was not always a lucky man, though. Which is why he was stuck pressing said partner against a brick alley wall, his damn fake glasses fogging over from their mingled breath and leaving him blind as a bat.
"Can you see him yet, Bones?" He should not be distracted by the feel of her skin brushing his cheek. He wasn't.
Bones shifted, her hands braced on his shoulders sliding up, up the fabric of his suit jacket, to settle at the back of his neck, the tips of her fingers buried in his hair. She pulled him down, lips brushing his ear as she breathed, "He's coming our way."
They were going to have to make this believable, then. He couldn't be suspicious of the alarm they'd set off opening the door, or the agent they'd let in at the same time would be toast.
fringe for Amy
I'm so behind! On all my TV, but definitely Fringe. I was trying to write something for my friend yahtzee63 for her yuletide prompt here like, a year ago. It didn't go anywhere, but I like this half-scene:
Olivia peered blearily at the screen and answered. "Peter? What's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong! Everything's great." Peter drawled out the 'r' in 'great,' and Olivia frowned.
She sank back against the pillows. "Then...why are you calling?"
Peter started laughing, and it was loose and sloppy, and she started forming a theory even before he said, "I believe this is what's commonly known as a 'drunk dial,'" and Olivia fought back a grin even though no one else could see it, in the dark and across a phone line.
ncisdarkangelabbypulse
Ahahaha. Um...Abby from NCIS is the post-Pulse world of Dark Angel? :D? Here's a bit:
Abby first encountered Eyes Only in 2015, when she caught someone trying to hack into her system. It was a slow day, so Abby amused herself by sending the hacker on a wild goose chase for a few minutes while she figured out the IP address and what files she or he was looking for.
She locked off the files in question, then sent her/him a message. (Abby was really bored.)
>>Hello, not-so-mysterious hacker! The only way you'll be getting those files is if you ask nicely. Or know where a girl can get a Caf-Pow.<<
She was kidding about that. Mostly.
vorkosigan relations
This is entirely unformed; I was thinking about the varied types of family found in the Vorkosigan books and maybe writing a five-things around the idea. There's really just this list:
1. Half (Nikki and new baby; N POV) 2. In Law (Miles and E's dad/stepmom?) 3. Step (Nikki and the Countess? C POV) 4. Removed (Ivan and new baby; Ivan POV? Alys?) 5. Adopted (Mark and Nikki)
no subject
