optimist's argument--good chance to catch up on my crime procedurals?

Ugh.

So...it appears we may be okay on the bedbug front? Exterminator Man says so, and I'm crossing my fingers.

Of course, now that one crisis is over and I had a promisingly light week ahead of me, to be used for catching up on sleep and readings...I appear to have fallen ill. Hence, ugh. Or as Liz Lemon would have it, "Bleurgh."

*headdesk*

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. I highly recommend anything written by Ian Rankin, he is awesome.

Thanks :)

Ha, I am much less literary and more TV-oriented in my sick-time crime procedurals. When I feel bad, I tend towards the soothing, entertaining predictability of things like NCIS, Numb3rs, and Psych. But I'll definitely check Rankin out next time I feel the urge for a book, thanks! :)

Hmmm. I know that the BBC did film versions of his Inspector Rebus novels, but they're not uplifting. Perhaps I should retract my recommendation. Being feverish and watching movies about serial killers may not mix well.

Ha, yeah, I considered watching some Criminal Minds (which I love), but figured that might be a Bad Plan. Ditto Bones, or any other show that I love but tends toward the really-gross-dead-bodies end of the spectrum.
