am I shallow? ...do I care?

I'm not really someone who likes to watch MTV, nor do I listen to much pop music, so I generally don't see many music videos. When I do, it's usually because I hear that someone's done something visually interesting, in which case, as a film person, I'll check it out.

That said, I REALLY WISH someone had told me that the first couple of minutes of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" music video involved her making out and speaking Swedish with a suspender-wearing Alexander Skarsgård.

I would've watched it much sooner. :D

(also, confession time: I am actually really really fond of Lady Gaga. :D?)

That is cool! She actually has a really great voice. And, you know, can play her own music. Which is one of the reasons I genuinely like her; all the craziness is because she wants to, not because it's misdirection for a mediocre musical talent. It's just fun! And that's the kind of thing that I want from my pop music -- it should just make you feel good. And Lady Gaga is buckets of fun. :)

Also, I kinda want her and Amanda Palmer to become friends now. Is that wrong of me? :)
