Okay, so I have a plan. And a plot, but mostly a plan.
See, I'm loving Man From U.N.C.L.E.. So the plan is this: I'm going to start telling you all several things from each episode that delight me, and hope will delight you all as well. (I'll try to stop at just five items.)
The plot is this: and then you will all fall in love with the show too! (Inadvertent side-effect: revealing just how much TV I watch in my free time, but that can't be helped.)
Okay, ready? We'll start with 1.06 "The Green Opal Affair."
1. Illya circles Napoleon (dressed as a nerdy personal secretary type) and eyes him speculatively while Napoleon looks very pleased with himself. See for yourself:

2. The rest of this list is bound to be pretty crack-ridden, but...I genuinely love the way the b&w cinematography makes the mirrored sunglasses on the villain look actually creepy and bottomless. /filmgeekery
3. Attack-cheetahs. I say again: Attack. Cheetahs.
4. Napoleon wins a fight by tying his shirt over someone's head. Which sics the attack cheetahs on him. And then Napoleon quotes a nursery rhyme. I am DYING over here, guys.
5. Aww. Napoleon just made up a whole story about a fake grandfather to save someone's marriage. <3
