Wow, haven't done one of these posts in a while; looks like almost three years, in fact, yikes. Just some BPAL reviews that I'm clearing away so I can sell a bunch off.

nothing to see here, move along... )

Hmm. There were a high proportion of unfortunate my-skin-hates-these-notes scents in this batch. :(

And with this post, I am completely caught up on my BPAL reviews, just in time to start a new round of testing and swaps. :) Please feel free to skip right on over these.

Reviews. BPAL Reviews. )

Hello, my name is Lindsey, and I'm a BPAL addict.

This post is totally skip-able; I've just had reviews of scents I've tried piling up over the past year or so, and I decided to post the finished ones, in an attempt to clear out the cobwebs. However, there are...a lot. Like, a LOT. It's kind of impressive, in an embarrassing way. A lot of these are Cassandra's, but I'm not going to try to distinguish that here. Keep in mind that this is over the course of a year; I'm not entirely insane! I think.

Cut to hide my shame )

Okay, so I was totally planning to write an actual post telling everyone what I've been, you know, doing. Instead, y'all are getting some music, memes, and BPAL reviews. Bah. At least I'm caught up on my responses, and that inbox is empty. Next up--fic reviews catch-up.

Random link: Mentos and Diet Coke. Hee. This video is ridiculously geeky. *loves*

Tomorrow I'm going to go see Alexi Murdoch at Waterloo Records with my friend Mary, followed by dinner with one of my favorite people ever (that would be Mary, btw; my syntax sucks at 3am), whom I owe for introducing his music to me in the first place. Hopefully I will get a copy of his new (first real) CD and his autograph, and try not to embarrass myself while listening to his adorable Scottish accent. I may also be going to see him play at Stubb's on Thursday as well. I'm terribly excited. Anyway, in the spirit of pimping, I've decided to upload his EP Four Songs for you lovely people, since it's no longer available for purchase. Enjoy his lovely, mellow, hypnotizing music! And then go buy his new CD!

In other news, BPAL is planning a Manhattan scent for Wanderlust! I'm so excited. I will buy it regardless of listed notes. Anyway, on to BPAL reviews )

Oh, and a random Star Trek character meme )
I took it again to get the second result because I tied the first time 'round and wanted to see it.

Because I haven't BPAL-spammed you enough, some more scent reviews. A demoness and a unicorn walk through Paris and Whitechapel to swim in the sea. )

And here's my list of tried BPAL scents. Para todos ustedes )

Okay. Here's my BPAL wishlist. Voila. )

*manic laughter* I'm going to die.

I have class this morning from 9:10-10:25am, then from 1:10-2pm, and 2:40-3:55pm. I have to leave my last class a half-hour early to get to my bartending/partyhelping job (a Passover Seder for 14 people), which will run from 4-10pm. After six hours of standing on my feet (but with a paycheck that will amount to roughly $170), I'll probably get home around 11, due to the bus schedule that time of night and the almost certainty that the event will run late. Then, I'll have to finish writing my 4-6 page paper for Social Movements that's due on Thursday at 1:10pm. Which, granted, isn't very long, but I'll have been on the move for about 10 hours at that point, and I haven't really read the book with the concepts we're supposed to use to analyze our topic. My first class Thursday is also at 9:10am (note to self: NEVER AGAIN let you give yourself this schedule), followed by the aforementioned 1:10-2:25pm class, followed by another 5-9pm Passover job. And what am I doing right now? That's right. LJ and Facebook.

The good news? This will be followed by blissful sleep. The other good news? I'm writing the paper on Barton Springs activism, which is easy for me. I managed a page and half just on basic explanations of the issue, pulled out of my ass sans proper research. Katie, I might be calling you at some point. You've been warned. Also, today was good. I went to class and got free lunch and cotton candy because of Spirit Day, lay in the sun on the lawn, and hung out with Leigh doing work this afternoon. Good times.

In other news, I've started DLing "Supernatural". I figure, once you have an entire dream which your brain cooked up as an episode without ever having seen a second and reading only one drabble in the fandom, your subconscious is trying to tell you to watch the real McCoy.

Oh, and a few more BPAL reviews . )

As requested by my lovely twin, I have written up reviews for the imps I ordered from BPAL. Aren't you all excited? They are behind the cut )

Also, more thoughts on Due South )
