I totally could've watched the Danny's In Therapy Show. (In fact, I kind of did watch that, because Josh Charles was on In Treatment...)
I wrote an Esther-centric ficlet a while ago, and have wondered what she would've been like on the show ever since. Especially since I know how awesomely Sorkin wrote the First Ladies on TWW. :) Calvin Traeger was also fun, and it would have been cool to see how Dana and him interacted after she knew who he really was. If we could've had Calvin Traeger AND Sam Donovan, now that would be the ideal...
I know! Those power dynamics are really interesting, and the fact that they try to ignore it most of the time makes it even more so. Fights between characters that get along so well are doubly interesting, because they only fight about the things that really matter, which makes for delicious emoporn.
You know what also would've been fun? A show centered around the secondary characters -- sort of like the Lab Rats episode of CSI -- because more Kim is never a bad thing.
