I wanted to say thanks to all the people supporting me in my insanity over the past few days. The presentation of my (half-finished) script didn't go brilliantly, mostly because I felt like it mainly revolved around the fact that when I've written on something that long and that hard, I go kind of crazy and disassociative about it. So the last thing I want to do is hear my story read out loud in a group of a dozen opinionated undergrads and a professor I really like, while I'm running on four days or so without REM sleep and totally paranoid that everything in my spy drama is glib and contrived. And of course that shows and becomes the center of discussion rather than what actually works for people or needs help. *headdesk*

Suffice it to say, I may have bummed a cigarette off a total stranger (and made a new friend while at it!) I call her Vera. no really, that was her name (I sometimes wonder if that is really the appeal of smoking for me--the ritual and the connection with a complete stranger over this simple, physical act. It's fascinating) and then basked in the company of fangirls (calathea and tazical are in town!).

*sigh*

In totally random news, I sometimes have thoughts like this while doing basic things like washing my hands: "I wonder if it's nerdy knowing that the handsoap I'm using works mostly because of the way it interacts with the phospholipid bilayer of my skin?"

Well at least it's over now. GET SOME SLEEPINESS GOING. The next screenplay will be awesomer because of it.

*hugs you* There will be much basking in the fangirl presence this weekend. Hurrah for Muskrat! I did not realize it started so early on Friday, though. When/how are you planning to get to Boston?

I know that about soap, too! Um. So yeah, probably pretty nerdy.
