So I'm catching up on The Good Wife (yay!), and I'm up through 1.10 "Lifeguard" so far.

I just have a quick question: is it wrong of me that I've never found Cary as attractive as I did when he started competently spouting statistics-babble like a giant nerd?

Because if it is, I don't wanna be right. :D

In closing, KALINDA, HOW SO AWESOME? I feel this is a question that must be asked.

ETA post-ep: Aww, good Josh Charles episode. I love when he gets screen time. ♥

Sometimes I can't stand Cary and at other times I find him very appealing (statistics babble was a good moment for him). Good writing, I am not quite sure what to do with you.

SHE'S SO GREAT.

I think I saw someone describe him as "he keeps forgetting to be an asshole," which I think is a pretty great way to put it. I have to give Matt Czuchry props for his performance; Cary could've been so one-dimensional, but he made him such an oddly likeable jackass without ever leaving out the jackass part. :)

Kalinda: MADE OF AWESOME!

I'm kind of enjoying the show too. I like that Josh Charles keeps on fighting the good fight with sneaky stabbyness. :D

Yeah, I was kinda meh on Cary, but the times when he turns off the Entitled Douchebag Mode, he's pretty.

Kalinda is the awesomest of the awesome. But I kind of like Diane more.

Of course this show is really good with it's female characters so they're all pretty awesome.

I find Cary attractive all the time, but yes when he lets his nerd side show it's just that much hotter. I see nothing wrong with this.

I love Diane! She was great in this episode, too, but there was only so much awesome I could talk about without the post exploding. All the female characters are excellent. They also completely outnumber the men – I mean, there's what, Cary, Will, and Peter versus the COMPLETE AWESOME of Alicia, Kalinda, Diane, Grace, and Jackie? (Jackie turning the hose on that woman was HILARIOUS, btw.) And then the guest spots were almost entirely women as well! Rock on, show. ♥
