*takes a deep breath*
Well, that didn't go so badly. Thanks to the wonders of modern technology, aka scantron exams, I know that I passed my bio exam! The exact score is...well, not brilliant, but--passing! Yay! I never have to take science again!
I spent the evening imbibing lots of alcohol and catching up on the last four (well, five if you want to count to two-parter) episodes of Grey's Anatomy.
Okay, I'd totally forgotten that Kate Walsh played Tim Daly's ex-wife in the very sadly short-lived show Eyes until I checked. I didn't connect KW with the role, but I definitely remember the hot wall-slamming sex scene. RROWR.
Speaking of, Chris Lowell? RROWR. He really is adorable, and has pretty eyes. I really want Naomi/Dell to happen, because it would be fun and they're both very good-looking, although I hope they drag it out because UST FTW! And CL gives really good crushing action.
Again, speaking of Naomi--I love Merrin Dungey. I loved her as Francie on Alias, my second great fannish show, and it's so nice to see her on my TV screen again (uh, so to speak. Because I watch on my laptop).
Kate Walsh kicks ass. 'Nuff said. Also: v. pretty. :)
OH! And the pregnant lady? TOTALLY GRACE FROM JOAN OF ARCADIA. WHAT THE HELL, SO WEIRD. I loved Grace, she was completely awesome. *nostalgia* I should re-watch JoA S1 again; that was damn good TV.
Did anyone else think the contrast between events in LA and events in Seattle made the soap opera seem horribly annoying and draggy? I mean, it helped to sell the spinoff (I think they might've even messed with the colors to make Seattle Grace more grey than the LA stuff), but GOD. The Izzie and George plot is dragging me down--as well it should, considering the subject, but I really wish they hadn't gone the damn adultery road again. I really, seriously take issue with that. Adultery is the one thing I never forgave characters for before watching GA; Addison is the first adulterous character I've actively liked. Meredith...well, that's complicated. I'm one of the few people in the world who likes her and feels sorry for her--I probably wouldn't be friends with her, but I appreciate how she's grown as a character. I think she has the potential to be pretty awesome in her own right once she gets past her issues, and I've been thrilled to see her slowly but surely working her way through things. She could stand to lose Derek, but I think that will take a lot more time. Anyway, the whole Izzie/George thing...I can understand where the storyline is coming from, but I can't help but see all the ways they could've handled it in a better/more interesting/more innovative way than falling back on characters falling into bed together. I mean, really. Shonda could've played this out in such a way as to exploit the UST of the situation so much better, which would've been a wise choice, considering it's the engine that makes television run. Angst is not the same thing. *sigh*
Okay, then, enough drunken talk about TV at almost 5am. I'm going to sleep.
