I haven't gone to sleep yet. This is partly because I'm still on Backwards Sleep (in bed at 5am, up at 5pm) and partly because I was up all night working on my incomplete papers and watching Dead Like Me.

I went to Kerbey Lane Cafe around 6:30am and drank three cups of coffee, so now my heart is pounding and my hands are shaking, yay. I had a totally bizarre (but sweet) server who had a tattoo on the heel of his palm, gave me a high five when I left, and called me "Angel" when he brought my food. (This was especially weird/funny to me because I was writing about The Big Sleep, and that's Bogart's character's nickname for Bacall's character.)
