inmyriadbits- The new intro sequence is great – and let's face it, a vast improvement! "I hate this case." "I know, isn't it great?" = so much better than the Turner&Hooch dialogue clip. SO MUCH BETTER.
- Lanie's new hairstyle? I love it. Now, if only they would give her more screentime...
- LOL NATHAN FILLION CARDBOARD CUTOUT. HIS EYES FOLLOW YOU!
- Have Molly Quinn and Susan Sullivan always looked this related, or have I just now noticed? They look more like real relatives every time I see them.
- HOW did I forget how endearing Ryan and Esposito are? How did I forget something like that? Like Esposito grabbing Ryan by the wrist when his chair rolls too far. Or, you know, the whole thing where they're totally on Beckett's side, loyal to the end and very, very pissed off at Castle for not treating her(/them) right. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
- Okay, the first time Castle was found standing over a dead body was fun, but kinda predictable what would happen next. The second time was HILARIOUS.
- Why was Nathan Fillion expounding on the contemplative nature of the refrigerator so damn funny? Was it the reveal when closing the fridge door? Well...all I know is, the closing shot of Castle and Alexis arm-in-arm in contemplation of the fridge was incredibly sweet.
- "What if they figure it out first?"
"...nah."
*dies laughing* I LOVE THEIR FACES. I love the humor on this show. They're really good with the visual gags.
- Was it wrong that I mentally captioned Castle's expression at the club as I'll be in my bunk...? (Ironically, ALSO his expression when they both say "I know who the killer is!" at the same time, LOL)
Conclusion: while I wasn't the hugest fan of the jealous!Beckett thing they had going for a while, there were quite a lot of funny and charming things about this episode. Welcome back, show! :D
