NNNNNNgggh.

I really hate being sick. I think I even feel worse than yesterday, plus I keep having to start my days calling in to work and telling my poor understaffed boss that I really can't work food service, sorry. I hate being sick as an adult. I especially hate being sick when I have nothing to distract me from being sick; if I have a good book to read or TV show to marathon, I don't mind so much. But I just finished my book, caught up on Fringe, watched all of Hawaii Five-0, and spent the day re-reading a bunch of elspethdixon and seanchai's Marvel Comics fic. And now I'm sick AND bored. (AND still have to finish my Yuletide fic. *looks guilty*)

So...recs? Long, satisfying, comfort-foody type recs, please? I've been meandering between H50, Steve/Tony, and Generation Kill recently, but by no means feel constrained to reccing those fandoms.

I have apparently been too distracted by tumblr to venture over to lj lately, but I totally thought of you when I watched Monday's episode. Chin sort of kidnapped and strapped with a bomb! one of your dreams come true!

I don't know about recs. my bff fiddleyoumust posted a gk fic a little while ago that rocked my face off. if you like angst, I recommend Something You Miss, if you haven't already read it. I also have a 5-billion word google doc with roughly a shitload of gk recs hiding somewhere, too!

Haha, it's so true. I was super excited! All they need now is Danny held hostage, to complete the set. They get bonus points if Grace is somehow involved, for protective!Danny and protective!team. (I am a horrible person, aren't I, wishing for a small child to be put in a hostage situation. I DON'T CARE)

I actually totally read that the other day, it was quite good! I have another long GK fic open in a tab right now, but I haven't been able to get very far with it; I think the boys' issues are too heavy for my cold-filled brain to handle at the moment. Alas. :(
