I am really tired, once again. I spent about six hours working in the garage, and managed to finish a corner. Yay! (It was a very scary corner.) I found some more magazines/newspapers to get rid of--cleverly hidden on top of a bookshelf--and cleaned off the fairly decent recliner that's out there, which is great for breaks. Said shelf was covered in what I believe were old snake eggs, but I really don't know. There were eggshells, in any case.
I managed to bang my hand really hard during an incident with a ladder, a very tall bookshelf, a very heavy box of newspapers and magazines, and some lumber. It left this awesome swollen bruise-and-scrape that I'm hoping will turn interesting colors. :)
However! The promise of power tools is in my future. This is exciting; I love power tools. :D
( The plan for tomorrow: )
When I finish with that half of the garage, I will finally be able to use the drafting table for actual art-type things. I don't like drawing in my room because I'm a freak and constantly worry about all the eraser bits and charcoal dust that end up everywhere. It completely drags me out of the moment. The best thing about art for me is getting to that zoned-out place where everything disappears and suddenly it's hours later. I love that.
