Order From Cows

I had a good day today. It started with signing up for a beginning voice performance course, of all things, then a 1pm breakfast of Indian food with Angie (I wake up at a 11, so sue me), which trailed into coffee and music, and somehow morphed into me helping her thoroughly clean their garage. But I satisfied my bone-deep compulsion to organize things, and they fed me and took me to meet a cute guy (bass player! but Angie has dibs, oh well) afterwards, so it's all good. :)

Angie's mom is the cutest lady on the face of the planet, seriously, for a whole slew of reasons. One of the reasons is that she has the most hilarious mistakes in her English, which Angie and her sister collect. Tonight's was a real gem: while toasting us about the garage-cleaning, she said "You created order from cows!"

...It took us a moment to realize that she meant "chaos." Only pronounced in the Mexican way, like Taos. *hearts*
