Reason #2678 Why I Love My Family

When drinking margaritas at a Mexican restaurant, it is perfectly normal for my dad to open a new topic of conversation with "So, did you hear about the cockroaches they're breeding in orbit?" Like he did last night.

(Similar past discussions include "The thing about space elevators is..." and "Did you know superconductors...", among others.)

For the record, breeding cockroaches in outer space totally produces like, super cockroaches. Faster, even harder to kill... *shudder* This does not bode well. Although, it does make for a great B-movie setup. *g*
