Okay, that was the MOST HILARIOUS reaction to me being sick that I've ever seen.

See, I'm all gross and froggy and bleh since Katie gave me her cold. So, of course, no one else was around to answer the door for the package delivery guy just now. I lug myself out of bed, he gives me the usual "How are you today?" and I say "Sick" in my gross-frog-voice...and then we reach the point where he needs me to sign for the package.

And he gets this SUPER PANICKY look on his face and is all "Uh...you want me to just write something down here for you?" And I'm all "Sure thing, I don't want to infect you," and he's like "I have a 28-day-old at home!" and zooms off down the sidewalk before I can even say "Congratulations."

I am HIGHLY amused over here, guys. But it was kinda sweet, too. ♥

NNNNNNgggh.

I really hate being sick. I think I even feel worse than yesterday, plus I keep having to start my days calling in to work and telling my poor understaffed boss that I really can't work food service, sorry. I hate being sick as an adult. I especially hate being sick when I have nothing to distract me from being sick; if I have a good book to read or TV show to marathon, I don't mind so much. But I just finished my book, caught up on Fringe, watched all of Hawaii Five-0, and spent the day re-reading a bunch of [livejournal.com profile] elspethdixon and [livejournal.com profile] seanchai's Marvel Comics fic. And now I'm sick AND bored. (AND still have to finish my Yuletide fic. *looks guilty*)

So...recs? Long, satisfying, comfort-foody type recs, please? I've been meandering between H50, Steve/Tony, and Generation Kill recently, but by no means feel constrained to reccing those fandoms.

:D?
