haircuts and chocolate milk

inmyriadbitsHey, did I mention I got a haircut? I would post pictures, but alas, my camera is in my suitcases, which apparently have crossed over into the Dimension of Lost Socks. I found the guy on yelp.com, and he knew his shit. Apparently I have not one, but two cowlicks on the back of my head. This is probably why my hair sticks up so spectacularly when I wake up in the morning. It's sad that I've had 21+ years of haircuts without a single stylist pointing this out to me.
Anyway, since I can't show you pictures, this is all just a lead-up to say that while walking down 23rd Street in Chelsea on my way to the salon, I'm 99.9% sure that I passed (and made eye contact with) Rufus Wainwright, who was speaking to a woman in rapid French. Which is why I'm pretty sure it was actually Rufus Wainwright and not just some guy who looked like him. :)
