inmyriadbitsI ran out into the street and blocked traffic on Broadway, yelling and shouting "Yes we can!" with my fellow students.
People are still cheering out on the street and cars are honking as they drive by, and Harlem has exploded with happiness.
I cried at Obama's speech, but it started when the people in the crowd began chanting "Yes we can," because no matter what he says, look what he did.
Look what WE did.
ETA: Now the people outside are singing The Star-Spangled Banner. *starts crying again*
