It's weird, but I find I'm often most productive when utterly exhausted. I think it's because i makes me feel like a shark -- if I stop swimming, I'll sink. Hence, I got up at 7:30, shot my video exercise, cleaned the entire kitchen and my room, cleared out my three scary inboxes, made smoothies, and am currently packing for the weekend/preparing to return my camera to the equipment room/print out next week's readings for my martial arts films class. *is virtuous*
Randomly -- I like this quote, from a Robert Bresson's Notes on a Cinematographer excerpt I read for directing class:
"My movie is born first in my head, dies on paper, is resuscitated by the living persons and real objects I use, which are killed on film but, placed in a certain order and projected on to a screen, come to life again like flowers in water."
Isn't that awesome?
On a less literary note, I bought my SXSW wristband yesterday and my plane ticket to Austin last weekend. I am ready to party, guys.
