I have realized...that I never actually saw the Buffy episode "The Zeppo." I thought I had, okay, don't look at me like that.

Also, I had no idea that Michael Cudlitz was in this episode! He is hilarious! "LET'S GET SOME BEEEEEEER!!!"

I am dying over here. DYING. :D

ETA: Upon scrolling through Michael Cudlitz's IMDB page, I find it especially amusing now that his character Bob in "The Zeppo" asks his friend if he'd taped Walker, Texas Ranger... and then two years after his role on Buffy, he's actually on WTR.

IT WAS. I saw his name in the credits and went "!!!" but had no idea what to expect. And then...there he was. *g*

Passing TACTFULLY over your opening admission....

That is funny! I didn't realize it was even possible. I think of WTR as being one of those 'old shows that used to be on' like Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Whereas Buffy is 'something we watch except it just ended.'

I know, it's so embarrassing. I thought I had! But apparently I'd just seen parts of it, and assumed I'd seen the whole thing and just forgotten the details. *hides eyes*

I agree; I had no idea that WTR had even made it into the 2000s, honestly. It's one of those quintessentially '90s shows to me, like Xena or Dr. Quinn or, idk, The Pretender. Whereas Buffy was late '90s (actually, I just checked IMDB, which tells me that Buffy started on my 10th birthday, which is weird), but feels perpetually recent, in spite of the fashion sense.

Random question: did you ever watch Life when it was on? I think you might like it...

Yeah -- it helps that I never saw WTR at all, it was just a perpetual punchline elsewhere. Never saw Life either, although I've seen a few people recommending it. It's been a while since I found a new show; it seems like everything's so... smirky. I guess I haven't been in the mood for that.

I only ever saw the occasional, vaguely-remembered episode. I suppose being in Texas helped. :)

Life is really good; it's funny and clever without being snide or lacking depth, which are qualities I appreciate. Everyone on that show is so broken, but it doesn't stop them from keeping on, and they don't spend all their time feeling sorry for themselves. Charlie is a fantastic character -- good writing, brilliant concept, and a great performance by Damian Lewis -- and he's definitely not the only good thing about the show. (Shallow example. :D) The twin and I just did a complete series re-watch, and it held up really well. I highly recommend it!

Plus, the whole series is streaming free on Hulu, so it's easy to dive into. :) *pimps*

Ha, I can't tell if you mean the Hulu link or the Sarah Shahi one. Both are sexy in their own ways... ;)

Also, \o/! Success! :D

LOL, I thought you might have. I do not blame you AT ALL.

Here, have another; she's more clothed, but she has a gun, plus Damian Lewis being hot and red-headed in suit pants. The man has some thighs, is all I'm saying. :D

That may actually be hotter! Will have to compare.

*develops carpal tunnel*

FROM CLICKING BETWEEN TABS. Jeez.

Damian Lewis looks awfully familiar. Checking IMDB. Oh -- Shakespeare Retold! HAHAAHA! BeneDICK. Well, I'm... intrigued.

Decisions, decisions. The real test, of course, is seeing her in motion -- shooting a gun, being snarky and competent, speaking Persian.... Feel free to take your time contemplating. ;)

LOL! He's also magnificent in Band of Brothers, but now I am really curious about him as any form of Benedict (Benedict/Beatrice is my favorite Shakespeare couple).

You're really a very, very good pimp.

It wasn't my favorite version of the story, but it had interest value -- and I did feel he and the actress had charisma. If you end up watching it, do let me know what you thought.

I have not, but you've planted the intention of doing so, which certainly wasn't there before.

Also, I just remembered the scene where the pretty girl lays one on Sarah Shahi (she was on the L-Word, too, don'tcha know). If that helps... :D
