Dear everyone who has ever loved Damian Lewis,

Whether you're a fan of him as Dick Winters in Band of Brothers or Charlie Crews in Life or whatever else, let me tell you this: you never knew, but you secretly always wanted to see him seductively read "To His Coy Mistress" in his natural accent.

And guess what? NOW YOU CAN. :D

Love, Me

P.S. Now I really want to re-watch that bit from his adaptation of Much Ado About Nothing (which, btw, is ADORABLE, A++ would watch again) where Benedick and Beatrice break down Shakespeare's Sonnet 116 ("Let me not to the marriage of true minds...") in a delightfully UST- and snark-filled scene. ♥

I did not watch this video, but I hate this poem. :/ When we did our unit of poetry analysis in AP English 4, my teacher decided the way to learn the various types of analysis was to pick ONE poem and run it through all the types.

Guess which poem she picked?

I probably read this poem 20 times that year, and had to pull it apart in every which way too. DNW.

I'm very sorry that your AP English teacher ruined you for this poem, because now you can't enjoy Damian Lewis being a sexy beast. That's just tragic.
